From the mythical courtyard of
Adventureland Bazaar, the Arabian market canopy and brightly coloured lamps
draw you into the mysterious passageways.  The walls are decorated with
paintings, carpets and intricate lamps, leading you through the attraction
from scene to scene…

Scene 1: The Marketplace

“One jump ahead of the breadline, one
swing ahead of the sword… I steal only what I can’t afford.”

Aladdin swings onto the rooftop of a
market stall carrying a loaf of stolen bread, as a guard nears.

Scene 2: The Legend of the Lamp

“Know this: Only one may enter here, one
whose worth lies far within… A diamond in the rough.”

The lamp rests high up on a towering
column of sprouting rocks, with eerie and red and blue glows illuminating
the cavernous grotto.

Cabane des Robinson

“Someday, Abu… things will change.
We’ll be rich, live in a palace… and never have any problems at all.”

Aladdin and Abu hide in their rooftop
shelter, with a fantastical nighttime view over the city of Agrabah behind
them.

Scene 4: The Cave of Wonders

“Proceed… Touch nothing but the
lamp!”

The mythic tiger head entrance to the
cave of wonders glows amongst the desolate desert landscape at night, with
the lamp visible inside the piercing jaw that Aladdin is about to cross.

Scene 5: Friend Like Me

“And now… direct from the lamp, for
your wish fulfilment… the Genie!
You ain’t never had a friend like me!”

A translucent Genie springs out of the
lamp Aladdin holds, whilst the Magic Carpet dances on top of a pile of the
ancient treasure.

Scene 6: Prince Ali

“Make way, here he comes. Ring bells,
bang the drums.
Prince Ali, the fabulous he… Ali Ababwa!”

Aladdin has been transformed into Prince
Ali Ababwa by the Genie, whilst Abu provides his dramatic elephant entrance
as The Sultan and Jasmine watch from a balcony.

Scene 7: Serpent’s Reign

“And now you’ll see… just how
snake-like I can be!”

Jafar has taken all power, transforming
himself into a slithering serpent holding Aladdin in his grasp, whilst
Jasmine’s hourglass prison ticks away behind.

Scene 8: Jafar’s Hour

“You wanted to be a Genie, you got it!
And everything that goes with it! Phenomenal cosmic powers and an itty bitty
living space!”

In control of the lamp, Jafar wishes for
himself to become a Genie.  With Aladdin’s courage, the plan backfires,
and Jafar is swept into a whirlwind as the lamp swallows him up.

Scene 9: Happy Ending in Agrabah

“I can open your eyes, take you wonder
by wonder, over, sideways and under on a magic carpet ride… A whole new
world for you and me.”

Aladdin and Jasmine finally share their
romantic moment together, high in the skies over Agrabah, whilst the Genie
looks on as the beaming moon.

History

This walkthrough attraction is
located in the corridors of what was previously Adventureland Bazaar, a
covered series of passageways around the Arabian town, with links to many of
the boutiques in this location.

The south Bazaar was then converted
into Le Passage Enchant d’Aladdin in 1993, with the larger north Bazaar
becoming Agrabah Caf (which has since closed, leaving the space closed to
guests).
