Christmas market.

In Fantasyland, your wildest dreams of Princesses
and Fairytales come true, as you step into the storybook world of Belle’s
Christmas Village and enter the delightful little market village straight
out of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

The rooftops of the quaint market huts and houses
are sprinkled with snow, and throughout the day the locals spread the
festive spirit of Christmas with enchanting gifts, tasty cooking and
delightful aromas.

The village is home to all manner of intriguing and
captivating market stalls, which not only sell all the fairytale Christmas
items you could ever imagine, but also serve up a number of delicious
specialties from the village’s cooks, such as pastries and cakes!

Belle’s Christmas Village is totally unique to
Disneyland Resort Paris, there’s simply nothing else like it at any other
Disney resort!  It was created in 2002 as the major new addition to the
season, and marked one of the first major steps in turning the season into
more of a Disney and Princess-themed celebration rather than the previous
generic Christmas style.

Belle and the Beast step out
into the streets of their cold, snow-covered village to meet the new crowds
of tourists.  A special meet ‘n’ greet area has been created at the
entrance to Belle’s Christmas Village, featuring the beautiful stained glass
window from the film and the iconic rose itself.

The Beast waits out in the cold for his spell to be broken, will you be his
Beauty? Find out for yourself and get a souvenir photo to remember the
occasion!  When Belle meets and greets her adoring fans, don’t
forget your royal handshake and courteous manners!  No, don’t worry –
she’s still a normal provincial girl at heart, and will be glad to pose for
photos and give autographs!
