Overview

Setting the stage for royalty…

Meet ‘n’ greet Disney Characters and Princesses or take a seat to watch the daily parades with a stunning view of Le Château behind.

Of course, “once upon a time” that wasn’t all you could do here. The grand stage was built to host large-scale shows, such as its original — and still sorely missed — Le Livre Magique de Mickey, in which a giant book on-stage would turn its pages to reveal new scenes.

After 1998’s Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Too moved to Fantasy Festival Stage for a less prominent and better sheltered venue in 2006, the stage was resurfaced with wooden decking and destined to become merely a meet ‘n’ greet space from then on.

The only times you’ll see shows or live music here now are during the park’s St David and St Patrick events.

Helpful Tips

  • Whilst the plentiful seating along the parade route here might be a wise choice for those with older or very young family members, do bear in mind that, unless you’re sitting on the front row, the view will hardly be ideal and people in front may stand up once the parade approaches.
  • In the Summer months, there is very little shade, and in Winter, little shelter from rain showers.
  • However, if you arrive very early, the elevated platform at the back the seating area does offer a splendid view over the entire area, allowing you to appreciate the parades more fully from a distance. This is especially magical during the nighttime electrical parades!
