It’s Dance Time…in Discoveryland, a massive, movin’ dance party!

Pumping, jumping, live and thumping! From his space decks, wild thing DJ Stitch bigs up the crowd as only he knows how, mixin’ ’n’ scratchin’ to get you stompin’!

From hip hop breakin’ to big time boogie beats, everyone’s groovin’ to the smooth cool moves and top tunes! Get down at the dance-tastic duel with DJ Stitch.

Everyone joins together for a far out, sparks-flaring finale!

After all, It’s Dance Time…in Discoveryland!

MARNE-LA-VALLÉE, France – The world’s top DJs will have to hang up their baseball caps when Stitch, the mischievous alien from Walt Disney Pictures’ hit comedy Lilo & Stitch, takes to the turntables. He’s got them all beat with his own mischievous mix of dance rhythms.

It’s Dance Time… in Discoveryland uses Disney magic to bring Stitch and his fans together for a dance moment. In his new guise as DJ Stitch, the fuzzy phenomenon will challenge his troupe of fleet-footed dancers to specific choreographies. Can he outpace them with his manic mixes, or will their fancy footwork match his every beat? Guests will be in stitches as they join in this fast and furious fun.

A new entertainment experience, It’s Dance Time… in Discoveryland (Disneyland Park) will be held 5 days a week several times, from April 4th till November 8th 2009, on a new mobile stage next to Space Mountain: Mission 2. Said the creators: “Stitch has tremendous energy and spontaneity, so we thought he’d make a terrific DJ. This show invites our guests to interact and participate actively in a way never seen before”.

The only creature of his kind, Stitch is an alien created in an illegal genetic experiment by the mad scientist Jumba. Although his heart’s in the right place, Stitch was engineered to cause chaos. Luckily, his adoptive family – 7-year-old Lilo and her older sister Nani – keep his naughty impulses in check. Or at least, they did until we gave him a pair of headphones and a licence to “make some noise”.
