Alternatively, the large area just behind these also gives a great view when standing.
- The shows at Trick or Treat Stage often gain crowds from guests passing by as a show begins, so arrive just 5 or 10 minutes in advance and you’ll be able to secure a good view.
- Goofy speaks English throughout the show, whilst the cauldron speaks French. The storyline, however, is easy enough to follow regardless.
Fun Facts - An almost identical cauldron can be found amongst the pumpkin patches of Woody’s Roundup Village during Halloween, coloured green with hypnotised eyes.
The Music - Before the show begins, and through its opening scenes, you’ll hear the Frontierland Unit soundtrack from Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade at Walt Disney World, with the words “Ghost riders in the sky… Happy Halloween!”
- The show is notable for its use of small segments of contemporary, popular music – usually a rarity reserved for the Halloween Soirée or New Year’s Eve DJ parties. Music includes such bizarre choices as the “Can-Can” from Baz Luhrman’s ‘Moulin Rouge!’…

Join Goofy as he fumbles and stumbles his way to creating a truly memorable Autumn recipie, his famous pumpkin soup, with a little extra “kick” from the talking cauldron itself. Goofy and the Magic Cauldron is a fun little live show on the Trick or Treat Stage next to Cowboy Cookout Barbeque. Perfect for younger guests, it features a mix of character fun from Goofy and breakdancing from the cowboy taste-testers. The Show Amongst the forests surrounding Cowboy Cookout Barbeque, the Trick or Treat Stage is ready to welcome its very own star chef – Goofy! To the music of “Ghost Riders in the Sky”, he stumbles on-stage dressed in an apron and chef’s hat, splattered with orange no doubt from a previous attempt at his famous pumpkin soup. As he begins to prepare his ingredients and recipe book, Goofy is interrupted from a spluttering and bubbling coming from across the stage. Smoke pours from the cauldron… Suddenly, it begins to speak! “Bonjour Dingo!” she squeeks, as Goofy searches the stage in astonishment. “Here, over here!” the cauldron spurts. She begins to help Goofy prepare his ingredients for a classic Halloween pumpkin soup, suggesting Goofy bring up a few assistants for the tasting. Three cowboys passing by from Thunder Mesa are the perfect choice, climbing up on stage to meet Goofy and his magic cauldron. Together, they dance the “scarecrow” (it’s a little similar to the “robot”…) to pass the ingredients one-by-one from Goofy’s basket to the bubbling pot. With the broth boiling away, the four cooks dance to a noisy, contemporary “Can-Can” – a sign of the strange and bizarre sounds to come, when they taste the magic soup. Just one sip of the pumpkin soup sends the three cowboys into a dizzying spin, breakdancing across the stage to every music genre from pop to hip-hop, dance to trance, as Goofy cowers in the background, watching his creation wreak havoc. When the cowboys come to a stop, they freeze in mid-air, stuck in time. The magic cauldron has a dangerous suggestion – “more soup?” – and Goofy doesn’t stop for a second before giving it a try. Once again, the trio are sent spinning to jumpy pop music. The breakdancing cowbows continue their act, as Goofy and the cauldron discuss their impressive skills. “I sure wish I could dance like that!” exclaims Goofy, and the cauldron suggests… “maybe you should try?!”. With a heavy gulp of the head-spinning concoction, Goofy sets the stage alight with his very own dancing skills, to the vibes of disco and dance samples. “You were right!,” says Goofy proudly, “On Halloween, anything is possible!” When the cowboys and Goofy are ready to leave the cookout for new frontiers, they’ve some excellent advice for their audience… Eat your soup every night, and anything is possible! History - Goofy and the Magic Pot (as it is known on park schedules) began at the start of the 2006 season alongside two other shows on this stage, then named “FantaStitch Stage”. The returned intact for the 2007 season alongside Minnie and the Bat Boys.
