Airports

You can fly! You can fly! You can fly!

When there’s a smile in your heart…
Disneyland is only a quick flight away! 2 hours from Edinburgh, 1 hour 25
minutes from Manchester, or just 1 hour 5 minutes from London – the magic of
Disneyland Resort Paris is so close you can almost touch it. And, with a
time difference of only 1 hour, you’ll be able to enjoy it all from the very
first moment!

Officially-licensed ‘VEA’ Shuttle buses
serve Disneyland Resort Paris and its hotels throughout the day from Paris’
two main airports, and with low-cost fares available on almost every
service, there’s never been a better time to follow the second star to the
right.

The Airport

3 Terminals

Transport connections via: VEA Shuttle,
TGV, Rental Car,
Taxi, RER via Paris.

Official website:
www.aeroportsdeparis.fr

Charles de Gaulle airport is located near Roissy, 25km North-East of Paris and
nestled between autoroutes A1 and A104.  By far the largest and busiest
airport in France, it is also the second busiest on the entire European
continent, with three terminals and excellent transport links.  It was
undoubtedly a key factor in the choice of Marne-la-Valle for the location of
Disney’s European magic kingdom.

ImageVEA Shuttle

Journey time: 40 minutes + (depending on your hotel)

Adults: 16   Children (3-11): 13   Single tickets only

Recommended for any groups

Official website: www.vea.fr

VEA is the official shuttle given license to operate daily between Roissy/CDG
airport and Disneyland Resort Paris, with brightly coloured, 75-seater,
air-conditioned coaches.  The service stops at all three terminals, with
tickets available to purchase as part of your package, through travel agents, at
Aroports de Paris counters or on-board the bus itself.  The bus pick-up
points are signposted throughout all terminals with either the VEA logo or text
in both French and English.

There are up to 21 services a day between Charles de Gaulle Airport and the
Disney Hotels (excluding Davy Crockett Ranch), with four of these also serving
the Val de France hotels.  All coaches stop at the Marne-la-Valle/Chessy
bus station, allowing onward links to Val de France, Val d’Europe or
Marne-la-Valle area hotels.  Full timetables can be found on the
official website.

For disabled guests, VEA have minibuses available to book in advance. See the
website for more.

For around the same price as the VEA Shuttle, you can speed your way direct to
the magic in less than 10 minutes on board a peaceful, luxurious TGV train.
Trains depart from the TGV/RER hub near Terminal 2, accessed via the circular
shuttle bus from your arrival gate.  With flight delays, baggage collection
and the shuttle bus journey, it will be difficult to calculate exactly what time
you’ll arrive at the station, and with trains departing only every 20 to 60
minutes depending on the time of day, it can be hard to plan this route.
For sheer speed of arrival, however, this option is astonishing.  You’ll
barely have time to find your seat before Space Mountain appears in the
distance!

A good option might be to use TGV for your return journey to the airport,
purchasing your ticket either online or from the TGV ticket desks on the main
station concourse at Marne-la-Valle/Chessy.

ImageRental Car

Journey time: 45 minutes

Prices vary

Recommended for visitors wishing to also explore the region

If you’re staying at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, a hotel in the
Marne-la-Valle region or just want more freedom and a chance to explore the
area, then a rental car is a great option.  Hertz Car Rental is an official
partner of Disneyland Resort Paris, with a rental desk located at
Marne-la-Valle/Chessy station and the Esso gas/petrol station near Disney’s
Hotel Santa Fe.

Hertz have numerous rental desks at Charles de Gaulle operating 20 hours a day,
and by supplying a flight number can provide a car immediately upon arrival.
The main desk is located in Terminal 2.

ImageTaxi

Journey time: 40 minutes

About 60

Recommended for large groups or very early/late departures/arrivals

If you arrive or depart after the final VEA Shuttle and the TGV services don’t
suit your arrival time, then the resort is just a 40 minute taxi journey away
from Charles de Gaulle airport (depending on traffic).  Prices will vary depending on the time and
traffic levels, but expect to pay around 60 euros, certainly no more than 80.

If you’re a large group or are staying outside of the main resort area, this can
be a good option.

ImageRER

About 14 or 12,30 for a 1-Day Mobilis travelcard

Not recommended – unless your hotel is along the RER line

Official website: www.ratp.fr

Travelling to Disneyland Resort Paris via RER from Charles de Gaulle is very
simple and straightforward, with the blue line B from CDG interchanging with
Disneyland’s red Line A in the centre of Paris at Chtelet
Les Halles.  However, with a journey time of at least 1 hour 10 minutes,
the hassle of changing lines in the centre of Paris with all your baggage and
the hectic bustle of the trains, this is not to be recommended unless you’re
staying near the centre of town.
