Adventure IsleTwo connected peninsulas – one the location of La Cabane des Robinson, the other ‘Treasure Island’, a locaton for Captain Hook’s Pirate Ship, Skull Rock and countless caves. Ben Gunn’s Cave, Keelhaul Caverns, Le Ventre de la Terre, Spyglass Hill, Pegleg Point, le Pont Suspendu and many more can be found here. MusicParts of Adventureland, particularly Adventure Isle, are unique in that they feature little music at all. However, the land still features some of the most memorable soundtracks in the park… Adventureland Bazaar LoopMusic taken straight from the soundtrack of Disney’s Aladdin. Adventure Isle LoopClassic sea shanties and nautical songs from times gone by, such as “A Whale of a Tale” and “Song of the Fishes”. Hakuna Matata LoopMusic around the African area of the land, mainly Tam-Tam rhythms. Indiana Jones LoopMusic from the film trilogy and some reworked music, shared with the Indiana Jones Adventure of Disneyland in California. Pirates of the Caribbean LoopThe classic original music by Xavier Atencio. Pieces include “Pirate’s Overture” and “Pirate’s Arcade”. Closed & ReplacedIndiana Jones et le Temple du Péril: A l’Envers!(2000 – 2004) The jungle roller coaster had its mining cars turned backwards in 2000 as a new attraction. More information » Agrabah Café(1999 – 2001, 2007 -) Buffet service restaurant located throughout the former Adventureland Bazaar. Reopened 2007. La Reine des Serpents(1992 – 2001) Originally a boutique in Adventureland Bazaar, converted to a tea room selling Oriental pastries in 1996 but closed (like much of this area) in 2001. Adventureland Bazaar (Original)(1992 – 1993/1999) Before the addition of Aladdin (1993), the Bazaar provided a complete covered walk-through area between the Thunder Mesa Express path and north Adventureland. With its conversion to Agrabah Café (1999), the second section closed completely as an area for all guests to explore and lost two of its inner boutiques. L’Echoppe d’Aladdin(1992 – 1998) An Arabian-themed boutique in the inner part of the Bazaar, this featured an Aladdin name even before the release of Disney’s film version. It was ultimately lost to the Agrabah Café, but remains as a theme element within the covered street. Le Chant des Tam-Tams(1992 – 1998) To the left of the Agrabah Café gate, this small store selling African gifts was lost to the restaurant in 1998. Aux Epices Enchantées(1992 – 1995) This counter service restaurant was renamed with the release of Disney’s African-set blockbuster ‘The Lion King’. With the launch of ‘The Legend Of The Lion King’ in 2004, it finally received some true nods to the film with areas inside renamed ‘Place de Pumba’ and ‘Terrasse de Timon’, for example. Explorer’s Club Restaurant(1992 – 1993) Originally a table service restaurant with animatronic singing birds in its centrepiece tree, the Explorer’s Club was converted to a counter service pizzeria when Operations discovered European guests actually preferred fast food on a theme park day out. | This is Adventureland, the world’s most mysterious region, where fantastic discoveries meet wild adventures as you journey through lost jungles, tropical islands and sun-drenched Arabian bazaars!

Past the intriguing boutiques of the Adventureland Bazaar lies Adventure Isle, where Skull Rock, Captain Hook’s Ship and a labyrinth of caves and passageways are waiting to be explored! Avast, me hearties! There be pirates in these parts, cannonballs ready to fire! Join them for a swashbuckling voyage on a warm Caribbean evening, as they lay siege upon a Spanish fort at Pirates of the Caribbean, but be warned – dead men tell no tales! Once you’ve earned your sea legs, cross the border into the wild, untamed Indian jungle and discover the ancient curse of the towering temple, as you take up the daunting challenge of Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril. With your head still spinning from the expedition, climb up high into the massive tree at the heart of the land, La Cabane des Robinson, and see what it’s like to live like a true adventurer. Attractions
| Tips & Advice
The two major attractions in Adventureland, the only ones in the land which in fact have queues, rarely build up unbearable waits. The high capacity of Pirates of the Caribbean in particular makes it a good attraction for a busy day. Whilst most of Adventureland is best enjoyed on a hot, tropical day, you should also return at night for Pirates of the Caribbean and the torch-lit Temple of Peril, both of which have an incredible atmosphere after dark. Adventureland is the best land to enjoy when crowds in the park are high. Its walk-throughs, islands and caves don’t require any queues! Head here in the middle of a busy day for a break from the rush.
