This
timeless land brings the inventions and visions of the great visionaries and dreamers
to life.  It celebrates the power of imagination and the
spirit of discovery when dreams become reality.
Your
launch pad: Space Mountain: Mission 2.  Destination: Further
than ever before.  Beyond the moon, into the darkest depths
of the universe.  3-2-1 Blast off!  Its official
youre an exploranaut on an explosive, high-speed journey, writing
a new chapter in Jules Vernes classic visionary story of space
travel.
To
bring yourself back down to Earth (and 20,000 leagues under the
sea!) after your epic mission into space, why not step aboard
Captain Nemo’s finely attired Nautilus submarine.  But watch
out for sea monsters – these are dangerous waters.
Over
at the Imagination Institute, youll see how big the universe
really is when imagination goes out of control in Honey, I Shrunk
the Audience.  Now thats an innovation!
Want
to get back into space?  Travel to another galaxy far, far
away and climb onboard what should be a leisurely trip to the Moon
of Endor on a Star Tours
robot-piloted Starspeeder 3000.  Unfortunately, the pilots
aren’t what they used to be, so make sure to hold on tight if you
get a robot going by the name of “REX”.  Your relaxing
commercial flight might quickly turn into a heroic light-speed
adventure through asteroids and towards the Death Star itself!
In space, anything’s possible…

The infamous Columbiad cannon has been recharged with even more

It’s the “Inventor of the Year” Award being presented right here
in Discoveryland!  The Imagination Institute invites you to
take a seat in their special auditorium to witness Professor Szalinski
receive the award for his incredible shrinking machine.  Just
one piece of advice – he might be “Inventor of the Year”, but he
still isn’t too good at controlling his inventions – or 999 mice!
