Zurg
has masterminded an evil army of power-hungry, invading robots,
which require the theft of every single power cell in the
universe! Should all the power cells be captured, toys
everywhere will be left powerless and at the mercy of Zurg’s evil
plans, sending the universe spiralling into
turmoil and sparking a situation so desperate that not even the
Universe Protection Unit can handle! |

Ready to commandeer an XP-41 Space Cruiser and head to the
furthest reaches of the toy universe, with only a simple laser gun
to save the day? |
Once
you hit the dark waves of Zurg’s dastardly plot, tilt and turn
your Space Cruiser using the on-board navigation stick, then blast
away at the evil mastermind and his crazed cronies, taking your
score to infinity and beyond! If you use your laser gun with
enough Space Ranger skill, Star Command might even need to issue a
Code 546! |

Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is a brand new indoor dark-ride
attraction opening on the 8th April 2006 at Disneyland Resort
Paris. It is located in Disneyland Park’s Discoveryland,
in the building which formerly housed the “Le Visionarium”
circle-vision theatre attraction. The attraction will be
similar, but not identical, to attractions found in other Disney
Resorts, such as Buzz Lightyear’s Space
Ranger Spin and Buzz Lightyear
Astro Blasters. It uses UV/blacklight sets and props
with an “Omnimover” ride system similar to that used for
“Phantom Manor”. |
This
revolutionary attraction allows you to fully interact with the
ride adventure, as you spin your vehicle through 360 degrees and
use your hand-held laser gun to shoot at targets and rack up a
score which is displayed on the dashboard of your “Space
Cruiser”. At the end of the ride, you can compare your
score to the Space Ranger rankings and see how you did, with the
option of purchasing an on-ride photo to prove your galactic
expertise! |
